  • Before you use your new Pixie Heat™ RED+ Cordless Styling Iron, let’s charge her up with these 3 easy steps.

    1. With the RED+ Cordless Styling Iron you have 2 options to charge your iron. Option 1, use the provided USB cord to plug the base into an outlet, then sit the iron directly onto the base. Option 2, plug the USB cord directly into the iron, and charge with any desired power bank (i.e. power block/outlet, laptop or car USB outlet.) It is very important that the flat iron is in the lock position to ensure a full charge. The lock switch is located at the base of the iron, above the USB port. In the locked position the iron plates will come together. Unlocked, the iron will open to a wide v-shape. You will hear a faint clicking sound when switching between locked and unlocked.

    2. Next, allow your iron to charge for about 2 hours. While the iron is charging a blue LED light will blink until the iron is fully charged. Please note that the iron will not charge if it‘s not in the locked position.

    3. Once fully charged, remove the iron from the charging base or unplug. You cannot use the iron while it is charging or connected to the USB cord. Flip the safety lock to unlock the iron, use your thumb and pointer finger to close the iron by the tip, now hold the power button for 5 seconds, a blue LED will indicate that your iron is on and will automatically start heating up. You can now choose your desired heat setting: low, medium, or high. Always keep your iron in the locked position when it is not being used to preserve the battery.
